So Matt Smith and his girlfriend broke up. You kids know what breaking up is like, don’t you? It sucks. It hurts. Now close your eyes and imagine that your friend broke up with their partner. Would you be excited about it? Would you pair them up with someone else?

No? I didn’t think so.

So why on earth are you people posting messages like these? (Before you ask. YES, these are real posts posted on Tumblr by some people but I’m not mentioning any names):

“but I’m mostly thankful that Matt Smith is now single so he and Karen Gillan can announce that they’ve been married this entire time”

“I am thankful for Matt and Daisy breaking up.”

“Matt Smith dumped Daisy Lowe

HE’S MINE.”

Why you people post these messages, or how you are even able to seriously think like this, is beyond me. One thing’s sure though: IT’S. NOT. RIGHT.

These are not some characters you can ship all you like. These are actors.They are real people with real lives and real feelings. Even if they are glamorous and awesome and all that shit, it doesn’t mean that they aren’t like one of you. They’re just like you or your family. So please people, learn to tell the difference.

Consider other people’s feelings.

If you can’t do that, I suggest you consult a professional because then you have some serious emotional issues.
